When I saw that a neighbor had put this piece of furniture out for the trash, I immediately saw its potential to be given new life as a beautiful buffet. After stripping the paint and damaged top layer of wood to see what I had to work with, I sanded and re-painted it, then added detailing in the form of stencils and a new knob. It is now one of my favorite pieces in the house and I am so glad I was able to rescue it rather than letting it sit in a landfill!
