Both the bulletin board (rescued from a thrift store) and the push pins were inspired and created with a Stencil Girl stencil. The repeat pattern stencil was used to cover the entire bulletin board in a rich black pattern with acrylic paint. The pushpins were cut from paper clay using the small flowers found in the stencil detail as a guide. After a pin was nestled in the clay and the pushpins dried completely, I sanded and painted with acrylic paint.
