This afghan was a Christmas present for my aging father. I live in the Midwest and he lives on the East coast. We don’t get to see each other very often. I decided to make him a “family” crossword afghan. The afghan starts at the top with the family name, and each family member has a spot in the crossword.
It took me the better part of 6 months to create this one of a kind afghan. It measures 88″ x 88″. It is entirely single crochet and half double crochet stitches. I graphed the letters since I couldn’t find a pattern I was happy with. The squares are crocheted together w/ the single crochet stitch.
