Ever seen the sky as the sun is setting and low on the horizon with the stars just starting to peek through? Picture the lower section of this stitch being the sun and the puffs being the stars. The sky at this time is full of colors and is breathtaking. This is what the stitch pattern in this hat reminded one of my testers of, hence the name Twilight Horizon.
With a combination of some easy and well loved stitches, you get this fabulously textured hat! The brim is all worked in rows in the 3rd loop of the half double crochet, but it is worked in a way that the front loops of each half double crochet are all shown on the same side of your work and do not alternate sides, giving a the same texture as when worked in the round. There is also a button tab giving you the option to add even more personality to the hat.
