With the popularity of fairy gardens, making crafts for wee garden visitors have become almost a right of crafty passage. Wanting to take the idea of fairy crafting a step further, I fashioned this solar powered fairy house from an empty coffee creamer bottle. The windows are tiny picture frames, the stone walls are Mod Podge collage clay and river pebbles and the roof is crafted form a solar powered garden stake. The roof absorbs sunlight during the day and then at sundown, you can see the light glowing from the windows as the fairies stay up partying into the night.
