I am a wood-centric, mixed-media sculptor who uses the wood lathe to create multi-axis wood turnings. This process allows me to create forms that normally would not be possible using traditional turning techniques.

FunHouse is a small sculpture I made as a challenge to myself when I found a piece of oak with a big core-hole through it. I used multi-axis turning techniques on the lathe to make a shape, which ended up looking like a fun little pagoda. For some reason, I thought of traveling carnivals, hence the legs to travel & the mom & kid enjoying a swing.

Dimensions are 10″x 10″x 8″.
