After showing horse for many years, most of my ribbons ended up in a box…in the basement… Not a great way to store ribbons you worked hard for. The inspiration for this project was from my mom – She made a ribbon pillow out of my ribbons one year and I took the idea and ran with it. I started making pillows for friends and eventually posted my creations on Facebook. I haven’t looked back since.

I expanded my products from just pillows to wall hangings, table runners, stockings and pony pillows. I have now worked with not only horse show ribbons but dog show, gymnastic, swim and marathon ribbons as well. In just under a year, I have created over 150 pillows for people all across the country, including Germany. The best part about my shop is that customers have the choice of multiple sizes and patterns. They can fully design their ribbon creation or hand over the reins (no pun intended) to me to create what would look best with the ribbons they send.

It’s fun to see all of the ribbons that come in and how successful my customers are. From small, local horse shows to world championship shows, they all work so hard with their horses and you can tell that each ribbon has a special meaning to them.
