Edible Crafts
I had the pleasure of helping to teach an Edible Art Class to children ranging in age from 6-12. Each week we did a new project, made entirely of edible components. One of my favorites was the candy mosaic. The “canvas” was a square of baked gingerbread. A layer of icing was the adhesive, then the students could add candy to create whatever pattern and image they liked! I enjoyed creating a sample then seeing their creativity come alive as they made their own masterpieces. I personally created a beach scene.
