I have created a foundation grid for easy piecing endless quilt blocks and projects! From pixilated photos to traditional quilt blocks; and even better, your own creations, this is a visual, fun way to piece quilts! This vintage quilt project was inspired my the crocheted Granny Square afghans my grandmother made. You get your project designed on graph paper or choose from cross stitch patterns, knitting patterns, anything that is based on a grid. Each grid panel is 9 squares across and 14 squares down, so you divide your project into sections that size. Iron on your squares, sew all horizontal seams. Clip between each square to the stitch line. Press seams going opposite directions. Sew the vertical seams. Sew each finished panel together! Done!
