This piece started out as an abandoned piece of framed art at my local Goodwill store. I bought it for $7, then brought it home to transform. First, I painted over the original glass with chalkboard paint and painted the frame itself with several coats of teal paint. While the paint dried, I sketched a plan for my subway art on a separate piece of paper. Once the chalkboard was ready, I used a white chalk paint pen to doodle my hand lettered art! I couldn’t love it more! To learn more about the process check out this link: http://www.oneartsymama.com/2016/08/chalkboard-coffee-art.html
